We would like to welcome Tiphaine, who joined Loisirs Loire Valley last August. The young woman, originally from Blois, has joined the other members of the team as part of her work-study programme in Tourism.

Why did you choose to work in the tourism sector ?
I was inspired to do this by a family member who worked for Trip Advisor. As I love discovery and foreign languages, I decided to explore this sector. I first studied for a year in the Faculty of Tourism before going on to do a BTS in alternating years. It’s funny, because I’m doing the same course as DaphnĂ©e at the LycĂ©e Sainte-Croix Saint Euverte in OrlĂ©ans!
From a tourism point of view, the Loire Valley is best known for its chĂąteaux. Why did you choose Loisirs Loire Valley as your company?
I wanted to work in something different, in leisure tourism. At university, I responded to an internship offer at Loisirs Loire Valley, which is located in Blois, and was convenient because it was close to my home. I discovered a friendly work environment, a family atmosphere, and that’s what attracted me.
What are you missions ?Â
I am in charge of welcoming visitors and commercial activities. Part of my job will be to prepare the 20th anniversary of the leisure centre in January 2024. But as we are a small team, I have understood since this summer that I have to be multi-skilled. My colleagues train me in all the company’s tasks.
Thus, for the next two years, his apprenticeship will continue around the design of new nature activities, marketing and communication.
